Believe it or not there are still harmful rays pushing through those clouds and hitting the earth’s surfaces. Just because it is cold on a sunny day it doesn’t mean that the sun isn’t as powerful so make sure that if the sun is out you are wearing those sunglasses as they will really help you out. It is always best just to pop them on when it is sunny as the damage caused on the eyes by the sun can be really bad.

How on earth can the sun come through and damage the eyes on a cold day?

Well the thing is, UV rays are actually invisible meaning there is no way you can tell if they are pushing through or not. Obviously you shouldn’t be wearing sunglasses if it is pouring down with rain but if it is a bit cloudy just take them with you anyway. What happens is that the UV light goes into the eyes and cause a reaction in the tissue. Once this damage has been done there is no way it can be reversed which is why it is so important that you wear those ray ban sunglasses.

So in the chilly season this year make sure that you have your sunglasses in your pocket at the very least to make sure the eyes are fully protected.
