You no doubt know the experience: you are driving at high speed around a bend in late afternoon. Suddenly the sun is right in front of you; you grope around trying to find your sunglasses. You have 2 seconds to find them before driving off the road or hitting another vehicle. This is where prescription sunglasses could well save your life.

Another scenario: you are on the beach, wearing your high fashion tinted contact lenses. But you don’t want to swim with them – they might get lost. Swimming with contact lenses is a bad idea anyway – it could lead to eye infections.
